always having been a fan of mystery jets (and i still believe their version of pioneers is better than the original) led me to the beautiful music of laura marling. here you´ve got the connection to noah and the whale which i found coincedentally looking through her music. before becoming popular as an solo artist she was a member of the band. i wish i had discovered noah and the whales music 2 years ago. but still does this beautiful, melancholic, sometimes absurd music meke me happy for half a year now. my friend who went to see phoenix in frankfurt 2 months ago was more delighted by them as the opening act as by the ones who she went there for. also was she worried why those sweet guys look so poor. the fan entries on their facebook page show how lovable they are. listening to their current album makes me waiting unpatiently for the first day of spring. hope you love the folky ukulele too!
